Role Overview
They are seeking a Sales Assistant to support and grow existing international retail accounts. This role is relationship-driven and sales-focused, working closely with retail buyers and internal leadership to manage ongoing business, support buying initiatives, and help drive revenue. This is not a cold-calling role. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing retailer relationships
- Support management-level buyers at international retail partners
- Participate in weekly Zoom meetings with retail buying teams
- Analyze sales data, pricing, and product details using Excel
- Support merchandising conversations by understanding product categories and retail needs
- Collaborate with internal leadership to execute buying strategies
- Assist with account follow-ups, reporting, and deal coordination
- Occasional international travel to support accounts and meetings
Qualifications
- Strong interest in sales, account management, or buying
- Comfortable speaking with retail buyers and management teams
- Numbers-driven with strong Excel proficiency
- Understanding of product merchandising and retail environments
- Organized, detail-oriented, and relationship-focused
- Professional communication skills and confidence in meetings
- Willingness to travel occasionally (internationally and domestically)
This role will be on-site 5 days a week. Offices are located in Midtown Manhattan
Salary is depending on experience – $50-60k + commission
