Job description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Stock Supervisor to join our team for a temporary contract in Burlingame. This position will oversee the daily stock operations of our store, manage and develop our stock team, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail industry, a proven track record of delivering results, and excellent communication and people management skills.
Retail Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the store by managing schedules, overseeing inventory and stock, and ensuring that all safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Maintain accurate records and reports of store performance, sales, and customer service
- Develop and implement store policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive environment
- Train, evaluate, and coach staff to reach sales and customer service goals
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor store performance and suggest strategies for improvement
Retail Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail experience as a supervisor or manager preferred
- must have prior warehouse experience
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Able to analyze store performance and develop strategies for improvement
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
Position Type: Temporary assignment September 8, 2024 - January 15, 2025, 40 hours per week
Pay: $27/hr
