Senior Designer, Creative Services (Retail + Campaign)
Contract | 40 hrs/week | Remote (U.S.) | ~6.5 months | Portfolio required
Our client is hiring a Senior Designer to join an in-house creative team supporting large-scale retail and brand campaigns. This is a concept-driven role focused on developing strong creative ideas and translating them into polished executions across both digital and physical environments.
You’ll partner closely with copywriters, creative leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver strategically aligned work across seasonal campaigns, retail environments, and digital channels. Best fit: designers with retail, fashion, lifestyle, or agency backgrounds supporting retail-focused clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept-driven creative across multiple channels
- Design digital assets including email, site banners, and campaign creative
- Support seasonal in-store sign packages and retail marketing initiatives
- Contribute to experiential work including murals, windows, and store environments
- Partner with copywriters and creative leadership to shape campaign direction
- Collaborate with project managers, production, and studio teams to meet deadlines
- Present ideas clearly to stakeholders and adapt based on feedback
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and consistency
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in graphic design, art direction, or related field
- Strong conceptual portfolio across digital and physical environments
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and brand systems
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Illustrator and After Effects experience
- Retail or fashion brand experience
- Experience working on large-scale campaign rollouts
Portfolio Expectations
Portfolio should showcase campaign-driven work across digital and physical environments (retail/experiential strongly preferred).

- Your portfolio is primarily UX/UI, product design, or web design
- Your work is primarily production-focused (resizing, versioning, or rollouts)
- You do not have experience designing across multiple channels (digital required; retail/experiential strongly preferred)
- You are targeting art direction or leadership-only roles and are not hands-on in design
