Job description
Our client is looking for a Senior Media Planner that will manage digital media strategy for our clients including live events, Broadway shows, Arts & Culture, and Attractions.
This role creates and executes digital media plans based on client objectives & budgets in collaboration with our internal team members. The Senior Media Planner provides in-depth analysis of the campaign progress in a way that translates to clear, actionable reporting for clients. This role oversees at least one direct report.
Senior Media Planner Responsibilities
- Develop media strategy and approach to reach client goals and objectives
- Attend internal and client-facing meetings, speaking to media campaign performance and strategy
- Represent the agency’s POV on vertical-specific trends and the digital media landscape at large
- Collaborate with Client Services & Creative Directors to provide plans that meet client objectives
- Create annual and campaign-specific cross-platform tactical media plans, identifying KPIs and generating ongoing testing plans
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations, in collaboration with Media Buyer team
- Provide insights for client-facing reports; deliver report presentations to clients as needed
Senior Media Planner Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media planning
- Experience with/working knowledge of two or more of the following platforms:
- Programmatic/Display, such as Google Campaign Manager and Display & Video 360 experience;
- Paid social platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Snapchat, Pinterest, Tik Tok
- Previous experience with Google Analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to successfully deliver client-facing presentations
