Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team onsite 5 days a week in the Portland, OR area. This is a direct-hire, fulltime position that comes with excellent benefits.

Ideal Candidate: will have 3–5+ years of experience managing complex projects across retail design, events, architecture, or experiential marketing, with proven leadership skills and proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, MS Project, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a portfolio of retail design projects, brand activations, and experiential events—managing schedules, milestones, and outcomes from initiation through final delivery.

  • Act as the central point of contact for clients, designers, vendors, and installers

  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets strategically to maximize value and maintain creative excellence.

  • Collaborate with both internal and external creative teams to ensure brand consistency and design integrity across all project stages.

  • Identify, onboard, and oversee vendors—providing clear briefs, negotiating terms, and managing quality, timing, and budget compliance.

  • Build detailed run of shows and lead onsite installations, offering hands-on support

  • Supervise and support junior team members and project managers by setting priorities, providing guidance, and maintaining alignment across concurrent projects.

  • Provide consistent updates to the Project Management Director and lead post-project reviews to support learning and process optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience leading complex projects across retail design, events, architecture, experiential marketing, or similar industries.

  • Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to navigate both detailed execution and high-level strategy.

  • Proficient in project management platforms such as Asana, MS Project, or comparable tools.

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, production methods, and current design trends.
