Our client, a growing name in the consumer lifestyle and design space is seeking a a Social Media Manager to lead content creation and execution. This is a Los Angeles based opportunity that is remote flexible (onsite as needed).
This role will focus primarily on content ideation, production, and publishing, with additional responsibility for community engagement, performance tracking, and platform optimization. We’re looking for someone comfortable working closely with on-camera talent and navigating high-visibility content.
Reporting to a senior leader on the social team, this role will serve as the day-to-day content owner across multiple social platforms while collaborating closely with internal departments. The ideal candidate is creatively driven, socially fluent, comfortable working in a fast-paced, talent-facing environment, and has a strong eye for visual storytelling, especially in the home design space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day social content creation and execution for a high-profile lifestyle brand across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube Shorts, and newly emerging social platforms
- Ideate, shoot, and edit social-first video content optimized for each platform (Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts)
- Develop and maintain a detailed social content calendar aligned with brand priorities, cultural moments, and production schedules
- Write compelling, on-brand social copy and ensure a consistent voice across platforms
- Partner with producers, editors, designers, and key stakeholders to execute content efficiently while maintaining creative quality
- Support community engagement and social listening, including comment moderation and real-time interaction, in alignment with brand guidelines
- Track content performance and contribute to monthly analytics reporting, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization
- Use data and industry insights to develop and execute content strategies that support audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness
- Ensure all content adheres to brand, legal, and talent guidelines, maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital publishing for a recognizable brand or public figure
- Experience creating content for a talent-led, lifestyle, or media brand strongly preferred
- Background in or strong interest in home design, interiors, architecture, or home furnishings is highly desirable
- Proven ability to shoot and edit high-quality social video (mobile-first content experience required)
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, trends, and social storytelling
- Excellent social copywriting skills with a sharp instinct for tone and engagement
- Experience using social platform backend and analytics tools, including Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, and YouTube Studio
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
