One of our global footwear/apparel and retail clients is looking for a Sr. Category Manager to join their brand partnerships team for an exciting full time role.

This Sr. Category Manager will be part of a small internal brand partnerships, collaborations, and licensing team responsible for bringing innovative product and brand collaborations to life from initial concepts, partner contract negotiations, demand planning, etc. through to design and go-to market strategies.

The Sr. Category Manager must be passionate about driving the brand's product vision and strategy and someone who gets excited about how fashion, art, music, and hype/sneaker culture collide.


Ideal Sr. Category Manager candidates will have:
- BA in business, marketing, advertising, merchandising, or related field
- 5+ years of category management, product line management, merchandising, or product marketing experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage others
- Creative, out of the box thinking to challenge the status quo. Drives opportunities for change and improvement as a solution-oriented contributor
- May lead projects or a part of a complex project and/or coordinate small teams
- Ability to travel as needed for key meetings with potential/current brand licensing and collaboration partners
- Strong understanding of the most forward-thinking consumers globally and how to connect them to the brand
- Proven experience developing and understanding key brand objectives and initiatives on yearly and seasonal calendars
- Able to drive and implement global partnership roadmaps and support the identification of key opportunities for the brand
- Previous experience managing detailed communication and collaboration across both internal/external cross-functional teams
- Able to work with external partners to maintain project timelines and results 
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining a growing product space

Nice to Have:
- Previous experience managing brand partnerships, collaborations, and licensing initiatives for a large global brand, ideally in fashion/footwear
