Our client, a growing name in healthcare is seeking a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI). This is a remote part time role (about 15 hours a week) that will ramp up to 40 hours a week starting in January. Must be US based.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong UX and UI skills to help craft intuitive, patient-centered digital experiences across desktop and mobile. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced and detail-oriented, able to work autonomously after a brief onboarding period, and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused environment.
What You’ll Do • Design user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that simplify complex healthcare interactions and improve patient experience. • Translate concepts into polished UI designs using Figma, applying advanced Auto Layout techniques and working efficiently within a shared design system. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Clinical teams to bring designs from concept to launch. • Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine designs based on patient and stakeholder insights. • Maintain consistency, accessibility, and usability across all design work. • Contribute to documentation and design system updates to support scalability and team alignment.
What You Bring • 6+ years of professional experience designing digital products, ideally with some exposure to healthcare, wellness, or patient-facing applications. • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work — from UX flows and wireframes to production-ready UI. • Mastery of Figma, including Auto Layout, component variants, prototyping, and design system integration. • Excellent visual design sense with a keen eye for layout, hierarchy, and typography. • Comfortable receiving direction and working independently after a short ramp-up period. • Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills across cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design.
Nice to Have • Experience designing for EHR systems, patient portals, or other healthcare-related platforms. • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and secure design principles. • Prototyping and motion design experience using tools such as FigJam, ProtoPie, or Principle.
