Apparel Technical Design Coordinator 
Fully Onsite in OC. 
This role is key to ensuring our product moves seamlessly from concept to production. You’ll be responsible for maintaining apparel CADs, managing specs, spec’ing garments, grading, tech-packs, fit comments, and BOMs. Additionally, overseeing our fabric and trim code library to keep our development process efficient and scalable.
What you’ll do:
• Create and maintain accurate flat CADs in Adobe Illustrator for all styles.
• Own spec management for all new cut & sew, and inventory (48 to 72-hour turnaround) delivery. 
• CADs, specs, and tech pack updates on calendar deadlines to ensure milestone dates are met.
• Build and update tech packs with accurate measurements, callouts, and BOMs.
• Maintain our code system for fabrics, trims, and embellishments for easy cross-team reference.
• Track sample development, prepare fit comments, and ensure updates are sent to factories/production team on time.
• Collaborate with design to ensure CADs and tech packs reflect true creative intent.
• Partner with sales and production to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and deadlines are met.
What we’re looking for:
• 2–5 years experience in technical design, product development, or apparel design.
• Strong Illustrator skills for CAD drawing and revisions.
• Understanding of grading and patternmaking fundamentals. 
• Knowledge of garment construction, grading, fit process, production timelines, print techniques, washes, and art layout.
• Experience managing BOMs, trims, and fabrics (library/code system management a plus).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable to deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel and PLM systems.
• Bonus: Experience with 3D design tools like Browzwear (not required but highly valued). Please include a portfolio showing relevant CAD and technical work.
