We are pursuing consumer products and experiences because we believe it will drive meaningful show awareness/buzz with more tangible, curated ways to interact with our most popular content IRL and drive long term value. We want merchandise and experiences to help promote our titles and build them into title brands, or franchises, so they become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time.
As a coordinator of merchandise, you will support planning, development and visual merchandising efforts for all products featured within Live Experiences. You will ensure they are produced to the level of excellence required by production and that meet members, fans, and guests’ expectations.

What you will do:

  • Support the Manager, Merchandise Live Experiences in the development and production of all aspects of experience merchandise
  • Work with key internal and external partners, vendors, and licensees in identifying opportunities
  • Help maintain merchandise assortments fresh, current, and profitable
  • Establish a robust Visual Merchandising program that will allow production/retail partners to apply
  • Best Practices’ and ensure consistency in how all Live Experiences merchandise is displayed and positioned at the POS
  • Audit all Live Experience retail operations from an assortment and VM perspective
  • Compile third party and benchmarking information to inform VM strategies and plans
  • Develop a playbook/toolkit for each Live Experience with planograms, reference materials and general direction for local teams to leverage and follow
  • Help manage the product and asset design process by aligning with Product Development &
  • Creative (PDC) team and leveraging the appropriate tools (i.e. Google Drive, Starcourt)
  • Partner with Creative/Production teams through project design phases to ideate on merchandise layouts that deliver on Creative vision, guest experience, and revenue potential
  • Manage and optimize ongoing retail and merchandise operations for the Live Experiences team
  • Align with key stakeholders across Marketing, Brand Partnerships and PR/Comms Com to maximize the impact of our strategies

What we need from you:

  • Demonstrated, 5 years of merchandise experience, preferably in themed or live experiences
  • Knowledge of the Themed/Lived Experiences business
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising, merchandise design, manufacturing, and procurement processes
  • Excellent knowledge of and passion for current and future merchandise trends in our industry
  • Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital
  • Excellent organizing skills using digital tools and google suite
  • Global experience
