The VP of Marketing will lead the company’s marketing strategy across brand, performance marketing, ecommerce, social, influencer, and lifecycle marketing.This leader will be responsible for scaling customer acquisition while strengthening the emotional connection between the brand and its rapidly
growing community. You will report to the Chief Revenue & Growth Officer and partner closely with key executives across the business to ensure marketing drives both brand equity and growth at scale profitably.
Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Customer Acquisition
- Own the overall marketing growth strategy across all channels (paid media, influencer, affiliate, social, partnerships, and lifecycle).
- Scale customer acquisition while maintaining strong efficiency metrics (CAC, MER, LTV/CAC).
- Identify and expand new growth channels including emerging social platforms, creator ecosystems, and strategic media partnerships in the US and internationally.
- Build a diversified marketing mix that balances paid acquisition with organic brand momentum.
Brand Leadership
- Ensure Comfrt continues to build one of the most culturally relevant brands in the lifestyle and apparel space.
- Partner with Creative and Content teams to develop high-impact campaigns, storytelling, and brand moments.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all marketing touchpoints.
- Oversee brand campaigns, product launches, collaborations, and cultural activations.
Performance Marketing & Data
- Oversee paid media strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Build a highly analytical marketing culture centered around experimentation, testing, and optimization.
- Establish clear dashboards and KPIs to track marketing performance and ROI.
- Work closely with Finance and Data teams to ensure marketing investments drive profitable growth.
Lifecycle Marketing & Retention
- Own email, SMS, loyalty, and retention marketing strategies.
- Increase customer lifetime value through personalized communication and strong post-purchase experiences.
- Build programs that turn customers into brand advocates and repeat buyers.
Social, Influencer & Community
- Continue scaling the company’s social presence across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Build and manage influencer and creator partnerships that drive both brand awareness and conversion.
- Strengthen community engagement and brand loyalty through authentic storytelling and content.
- Develop ambassador programs and long-term creator relationships.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and lead a world-class marketing organization across growth, social, influencer, brand, and lifecycle teams.
- Recruit and develop top marketing talent as the company scales.
- Create a culture of creativity, experimentation, and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with leadership across Product, E-Commerce, and Operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of marketing leadership experience within high-growth consumer brands, ideally DTC or apparel.
- Proven experience scaling digital-first brands through performance marketing, social, and influencer ecosystems.
- Deep expertise in paid acquisition channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
- Strong understanding of brand marketing, storytelling, and cultural relevance in modern consumer brands.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Experience working in fast-scaling startup or growth-stage environments.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, e-commerce, finance, and operations teams.
- Must be Well Versed in AI & Marketing Automation
