ROLE:
The VP Sales- Professional will be the strategic advisor and expert responsible for overseeing the development and execution of sales strategies that support pro?table revenue growth for the professional channel- including and not limited to- tattoo shops, professional distributor channels, and permanent makeup studios.
This role will develop and lead the internal sales commercial team for assigned businesses in the professional channel. The VP, Sales, will guide the team to incorporate brand objectives, strategies, shopper and category insights and customer requirements that integrate, align, and achieve professional channel goals to drive sales growth.

ROLE:

KEY KPIS:
- Develop and Execute National Sales Strategy Achieving a $5M revenue growth within First year
- Ownership of developing and achieving strong ARR targets
- Partner with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel leads, pipeline and deal progression.
- Develop joint messaging and value propositions that highlight mutually beneficial relationships and value to the end customer, along with repeatable sales enablement programs and toolkits.
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding revenue growth within those partners.
- Delivery of revenue goals by building a pipeline and closing new sales partnerships.
Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management including commercial terms of partnership agreements, detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

- Recruit and develop a top tier, diverse, efficient commercial sales organization of Area Sales Managers and SMB and Mid-market Account Executives.
- Partner and coach field leaders to drive results in company KPIs
- Oversee commercial sales organization success and business outcomes in the context of compensation plan strategy, providing feedback and recommendations to the company to optimize and drive sales rep performance
- Support sales leadership development, coaching individual leaders and their teams, and recognize and reinforce successful practices
- Consistently communicate with field leaders to ensure alignment on programs and incentives relating to business opportunities and product initiatives
- Collaborate with other Business Development Directors on events, industries, and quarterly business reviews as well as overall company strategy
- Develop, organize and actively participate in company and sales organization meetings
- Identify and support opportunities for ?eld leadership acquisition and development
- Identify training needs, establish training targets and scorecards, and organize and promote training events
Qualifcations
- BS/BA required, MBA preferred
- Minimum 8 years and max of 12 years of experience growing and developing field development staff in areas of sales success, delivering regional business initiatives, quarterly plans, budgets, and performance targets.
- 5 plus years of B2B Sales experience within cosmetics/skincare/personal care- Demonstrated track record partnering with beauty brands to identify opportunities based on their unique product portfolio.
- Accomplished leader with proven experience in building, managing, and scaling high-performing national and global partnerships teams, within a B2B Enterprise model
- Demonstrated ability to grow and close large global accounts through partners, selling a combination of products and services. Outstanding track record of consistently meeting/exceeding revenue and corporate objectives.
- Ability to implement sales development initiatives, sales metrics, and group/individual goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record of establishing business partnerships to deliver outstanding service.
- Approachable and warm demeanor, ability to influence (in the field as well as at the C-level), and ability to manage through ambiguity

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Vision and Implementation
- Build and execute national channel strategies by category and geography, creating and presenting sales plans that de?ne the company's value proposition, setting milestones, measuring performance, and being accountable for results to executive leadership.
- Establish and develop the region’s quarterly plans, budgets, and performance targets.
