Job Title: Wholesale Admin/Showroom Operations
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA - 100% on-site
Type: Temp-to-Perm Assignment
Compensation: Up to $28 per hour
About the Company: Join a prestigious menswear suiting brand located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. We are known for our high-quality garments and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our wholesale and showroom operations.
Role Overview: We are looking for a Wholesale Admin/Showroom Operations professional to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role is strictly administrative with no commission structure and is 100% on-site. The position does not involve managing any subordinates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate packing / unpacking and shipping for travel sales appointments.
- Shipping samples out to accounts and tracking sample returns.
- Keeping a sample log what is currently in showroom or out on loan.
- Archiving samples for donations.
- Updating sample hang tags and occasionally taking samples to drycleaners/ tailor for repairs and or modifications.
- Creating fabric swatch cards as well as updating article numbers on fabric samples.
- Organizing fabrics and swatch cards for easy access to reference for product development.
- Ensure samples are always displayed neatly and organized.
- Ensure showroom space is always meeting ready.
Admin support:
- File cabin upkeep and digitizing files to scanned PDFs on external drive.
- Updating ATS file.
- Organizing and cleaning office space for optimum efficiency.
- Ordering office supplies.
- Assist in researching and booking travel arrangement.
- General ad hawk assignments that might include : creating PowerPoint presentations, researching trends online, etc.
- PO management and routing.
- Directly engaging with buyers and sales reps.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on PO routing, liaising between buyers, sales reps, and production teams. Proven ability to manage orders and understand ERP systems and backend wholesale operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
