Wholesale Sales Assistant opportunity with a Jewelry brand based in Los Angeles! This is an onsite based role, you would be working 5 days a week in their Office/Showroom.Responsibilities include:
•Responsible for checking, processing and overall management of vendor orders
•Order entry, PO creation and EDI Maintenance
•Field and process Special Orders from all department stores
•providing detailed, accurate style numbers and pricing for special orders and other inquiries
•Partner with Operations team on shipping needs
•Checking ad copy to ensure all details are accurate
•Assisting during market appointments
•Assisting with creation of training materials for seasonal deliveries
•Multi-tasking across multiple accounts and projects under deadline
•Scheduling appointments and supporting calendar management
•Timely responses and resolutions to customers inquires
Qualifications:
•1-2 + years’ experience in Fashion/Apparel or Jewelry
•Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
•Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate strategies and ideas clearly to clients and internal teams
•Excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite including Excel
•Background in buying office environment or previous department store wholesale experience a plus
•Experience with EDI and UPC entry/order processing
•Ideal candidate would like to grow into the major’s business, and has both a strong creative and analytical side
