Our client is a well-established apparel company looking for someone who will oversee all aspects of account management for key accounts and is financially accountable to drive results.
Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Responsible to manage national & regional retail accounts at all levels in both branded and private label programs
- Must have a strong understanding of product development and merchandising
- Maintain and grow strong, effective relationships with internal & external partners
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities to grow the business with current & potential accounts
- Project and deliver monthly & annual sales forecasts to meet financial targets and drive revenue growth
- Shop the market to research and identify current trends and present competitive data to drive newness & business
- Partner with design/merchandising team on the product assortment
- Monitor and respond to opportunities in the market to identify ways to stay ahead of trends
- Follow order from inception to completion to ensure customer satisfaction
- Travel to accounts and trade shows required
Account Executive Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in sales in the wholesale fashion industry
- Private label experience is a must
- Experience working with office price and major department stores
- Kidswear experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
