24 Seven is partnering up with a sports apparel company based in Eugene, OR to help them find an Apparel Product Developer to join their team onsite! This is a full-time, direct hiring opportunity with benefits. Details on the position are below.

We are looking for a Headwear & Apparel Developer who will help guide our market driven vision and strategies for products working closely with our Director of Product and Merchandising team. Creativity and a keen, critical eye for design will be crucial. Having strong organizational skills to effectively manage development timelines for multiple product categories is a must.

Responsibilities:
•    Plan and track stages of development and manage creation and completion of tech-packs and BOMs.
•    Responsible for execution of technical fit, instructing manufacturers on necessary changes in order to execute ideal fit for the end use.
•    Guide the apparel creation process to ensure timely commercialization and best-in-class product
•    Ensure company standards for quality, function and consistency are met.
•    Manage all day-to-day communication with factory.

Qualifications:
•    Advanced (5+ years) experience in the apparel development process from inception through production, including but not limited to pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials and quality
•    Related Textile Degree and/or combination of education and fabric and color development experience
•    Ability to act as a technical resource and lead initiatives and project teams
•    Strong product creation background and a strategic problem solver 
•    Passionate and knowledgeable in technical and performance fabrics.
•    In-depth knowledge of design techniques and processes
•    Knowledge of dyes and dyeing techniques for varied fiber contents and fabric structures, and their influence on color appearance
•    Clear and concise communicator – both written and verbal
