Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Production in all production related tasks
  • Follow through on the global production execution for all product categories
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of all styles purchased - one time and on margin
  • Communicate updates to merchandising and sales
  • Daily communication with vendors to manage status and timing of product orders
  • Send approved ?nal tech packs  for production
  • Set up and host bi monthly meetings with vendors to review WIP
  • Anticipating and planning ahead for unexpected roadblocks - having the experience to predict and plan for possible problems and set up safety nets
  • Track liability charts  and inventory.  Apply to future orders.
  • Ensures production styles meet import requirements, customs laws and other inbound logistic requirements
  • Work with vendors and team for packaging, shipping, carton  labeling and exporting requirements
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly WIP reports
  • Partner with cross  functional team members, including Design, PD, Technical Design and Logistics
  • Tracking data  within various internal tools to track and report status to other teams
  • Approvals of production materials and trims
  • Carefully align the development process to hit individual product cost targets and position the business to meet overall margin goals.
  • Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines based on business priorities
  • Keep purchase orders up to date with any changes to units, cost and delivery
  • Track timing of TOP and PP samples
  • Responsible for passing the TOP and photo  samples to respective teams
  • Follow up on QC issues and requesting discounts or charge backs
  • Archiving of QC reports



Qualifications: 

 

  • 3-5+ years of experience in an apparel production role
  • DTC experience preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with all genders and all categories is helpful 
  • Experience with Yunique, Airtable, PLM and Microsoft suite is a plus  
  • OS platform experience is a plus.
  • Ability to speak with confidence and share insights with colleagues and management
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Entrepreneurship – an ability to make decisions and take calculated risks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and handle multiple tasks  while meeting tight deadlines
  • Must demonstrate high level of initiative and resourcefulness, be a solution seeker and make practical decisions
  • Computer proficiency includes Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and be a team player
