Assistant Showroom Manager

For our clients to receive the best service, it is absolutely crucial that we have the right people in the Showroom ensuring that it runs smoothly. Excellent opportunity for a highly-driven sales professional with a proven track record of cultivating customer relationships and meeting sales goals.
 

Working Hours
Full-time (including weekends)

Every day, you can expect to:

 

Sales Management

  • Motivate the team to successfully achieve sales budgets and targets
  • Achieve own sales budgets as a role model for the team
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train design consultants and sales support in operations, product knowledge, sales, and customer service
  • Build and implement sales programs and training in collaboration with the Showroom Manager to achieve KPI’s

 

Customer Experience

  • Ensure all clients and guests visiting the showroom enjoy the same premium brand experience
  • Ensure the post-sale experience continues to exceed client expectations
  • Professionally communicate with clients at all times
  • Accurately document and track customer correspondence and actions by escalating and troubleshooting to resolve any issues
  • Train the team to be hospitality professionals, you lead by doing ad inspire your team to do the same

Store Operations

  • Ensure the showroom presentation is to an impeccable standard at all times
  • Identify areas of process improvement, build out new processes, and implement them as needed
  • Partner across functions to ensure the operations of the Store are running smoothly and successfully at all times
  • Exhibit excellent judgment in decision making in day to day situations
  • Assist SM in HR administration

Administration

  • Assist with administrative tasks to check for accuracy and compliance
  • Control and improve variable metrics, including revenue, margins, expense control, labor and productivity
  • Perform any additional administrative tasks as allocated by the Sales/Showroom or Operations Manager

Keys to your success:

  • 3+ years of operations experience, furniture industry a plus
  • College graduate in Business Admin, Business Management, Hospitality Management or related field
  • Extremely well-organized, methodical and efficient, detail-oriented
  • Strong leadership and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and working well under pressure
  • Creative and strategic problem-solver; resourceful and persistent
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative or team setting
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the organization (including holidays, semi-annual sales, inventory, etc.)
