Associate Product Developer Responsible for development of product from design through production for assigned categories

Handle daily communication with all domestic and overseas vendors for all categories assigned.

Able to work independently and react quickly to changes, as well as adhere to calendar deadlines

Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction, material and product creation Work under guidance of Product Development Manager Style setup needs, costing, delivery expectations, and sample approvals

Prepare and maintain technical packages BOM COO

Detailed construction illustrations (tech packs)
-
Work closely with technical designer and product designer to ensure fit/design is consistent with the company guidelines
-
Ability to work closely with international offices to ensure company goals and ensure calendar adherence are met

Analyze and evaluate product samples and provide clear sample comments with regard to technical details, quality and construction
-
Post sample review meetings, developer must respond accordingly with vendors.

Maintain WIP charts, log regular communication with domestic and overseas vendors, tracking prototype and revised sample progress

Factory costs Tracking prototype and revised sample progress

Ensure all product/material testing requirements are identified and met by vendors
-
Organize and maintain product storage system, including R&D samples, photo shoot samples, SMS, etc.
Required Knowledge:
-
Degree in Development, Merchandising or work experience equivalent
-
3 years experience
-
Knowledge of apparel product creation Knowledge of factory processes, equipment, techniques, etc.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work on a continual basis

Ability to communicate clearly and objectively
-
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office software – Outlook/Excel/Word
-
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator software is a must
