Job description
Our client, a Beauty Brand, is looking for an Art Director to join their team! This will be temp to perm and start off with 30+ hours per week. They are open to remote work with some team collaborations onsite.
The Role:
The Art Director will oversee the creative team to lead the development of creative strategies, conceptual thinking, visual/verbal integration and delivery of messaging through all mediums and across all channels. You will collaborate with ecomm, marketing, production, merchandising, retail partners and tech to develop and execute innovative content, marketing materials, and online/in-store experiences with the highest standards of quality, technical expertise and aesthetics to meet our strategic goals.
What You'll Do
You will ideate and develop innovative ways to enhance the company through photo, video, typography, graphic design, and window display.
You will evolve, oversee and approve brand guidelines in partnership with the the co-founders and marketing team.
Ensure creative concepts are consistently carried through all aspects of projects.
Maintain design standards throughout all collateral and experiences.
Introduce new freelance talent (photography, videography, and other creative
relationships) that elevate our vision.
Research and maintain creative reference library, design, typography, fashion and culture and current trends
Present succinct ideas on the team's behalf to other divisions of the company.
You will encourage continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies and proposing solutions to benefit the team.
You will inspire and positively influence and manage a team of designers to help them produce best in class creative and grow within our team
You will represent our creative ideas to brands, brand partners, and other vendors.
Consistently challenges self and team to deliver leading edge creative products.
Who You Are
You have experience as an Art Director within the beauty industry
You have experience independently running campaigns
You understand ecommerce and digital marketing
You are an advanced Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign user and digital / social first in mindset
