Our client, a Hair Care Company, is looking for an Art Director to join their team! This will be temp to perm and fully remote with occasional onsite shoots so the ideal candidate is local to LA!Responsibilities:
- Key leader of marketing & creative team in developing overall strategy for brand-defining visuals to be used across editorial, marketing, retail, and digital.
- Provide artistic direction to internal and external teams to ensure consistency and continuity of brand assets across all channels and within brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with brand marketing on concepting campaign creative concepts.
- Develop mood boards for various brand campaigns and work across departments for sign-off and buy in.
- Lead execution of creative concepts, adhering to timeline and budget needs.
- Manage creative budgets for product and brand related campaigns.
- Execute on both print and digital assets across channels such as PR, social, on-site, experiential, and retail.
- Oversee product packaging projects including creative concepting, operational timelines and project completion.
- Collaborate with content production teams including internal resources, external photographers, producers, and agencies.
- Oversee post-production process and that resources are assigned accordingly to meet brand needs.
- Source and build a portfolio of external production partners for brands to execute creative campaigns.
- As needed, provide on-set art direction for photo and video shoots.
- Key extension of the brand marketing team and collaborate on 360 campaigns.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in the Creative field.
- Keen understanding of market trends, brand visual identity, and color theory.
- Experience with digital best-practices and execution on digital platforms.
- Excellent design and typography skills.
- High level proficiency with design software including but not limited to: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and Premiere.
- Beauty experience is a plus.
- Have a self-starter mindset and be able to work in an independent environment.
- Possess a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
