Job description

The Brand & PR Marketing Manager is responsible for building dynamic marketing strategy for the brand. They will share our story and craft memorable customer experiences through all channels by developing rich content, building partnerships, and more. This position will spearhead the execution of the strategic brand vision, programs, and activations to fulfill brand and sales objectives and will ensure that we always stay on brand. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead communication across PR and branded storytelling.
  • Ensure that everything the brand communicates is thoughtful and on-brand.
  • Build strong Wholesale partnership and brand marketing program.
  • Manage Brand Affiliate Placements.
  • Constantly explore new channels and ideas while managing a monthly budget. Know what is within our resources and on brand.
  • Managing the bran's foundation, philanthropic efforts and communication.
  • Managing CEO + Founder Initiatives and special projects.
  • Overseeing Brand Copy with a strong copywriting background.
  • Build strong relationships with brands, talent, and agencies that serve as underpinnings of meaningful, productive, longstanding partnerships.
  • Well-versed in Marketing reporting and delivering results to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Influencer and Marketing Partnerships Manager
  • Maintain marketing calendar to ensure all deadlines are met; disseminate upcoming campaigns and promotions to retail/ecommerce teams and other cross-functional partners
  • Conduct timely analysis and evaluation of the success of each marketing campaign or promotional activity and track all records
  • Oversee distribution and recording of all marketing materials for retail, ecomm. and wholesale.
  • Manage seasonal wholesale gifting, sweepstakes and GWP programs.
  • Partner with retail stores on regional charity events, gift fulfillment and recording. 
  • Oversee planning and execution of all philanthropic events, partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Conduct routine research to understand competitors as it relates to marketing content.
  • Must be highly organized, with superior communication skills and confidence in managing.
  • Must be an excellent cross-functional leader with experience managing integrated teams with a hands- on approach.
 Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 6-8 years PR or Marketing field experience; PR agency experience preferred
  • Strong written, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable functioning as both a leader and a doer. Providing leadership and insights while being a hands-on member of the team.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – both an interest and skill in analyzing and making meaning out of data and translating that into actionable changes.
  • A digital native, deep familiarity with social and community platforms, and analytics tools and engines.
  • Passion for Sustainability
  • Demonstrates ability to grow, motivate and mentor others. 
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • BA in related field
  • Ability to handle multi-faceted projects with strong follow through
  • Able to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team player
  • Commitment to quality, motivated self-starter that takes ownership of work
