24 Seven is partnering with a premier lifestyle brand to find a Brand Communications Project Manager to join their team on a contract assignment.

Develop and manage a communications strategy and plan based on the Global and US brand direction set by the Director of Brand Communications and execute plans across all cross functional and relevant commercial teams

Notes from Manager/Responsibilities:

-    Really prefer people in Portland.
-    This group is the Brand Communications for Running and Training Apparel/Shoes
o    Would love someone with experience putting together PPT decks. 
o    Coordination of Channel partners. Collecting data and making sure they are putting together in a central doc.
o    Ensure projects are hitting timelines and are on budget.
o    Need to be good with excel/smartsheets to ensure timelines are being hit. 
o    If they’re into sports/exercise that would be ideal. 
o    They don’t have a PM on the team so they’re very excited to have a resource like this.

Key Accountabilities:

Global Handovers:

  • Ownership of “Global Sports Comms – Content Share” Teams Channels and communication
  • Supporting project leads in not only posting global market updates in Team’s channels, but also requesting feedback over email for priority campaign’s 

Campaign Management:

  • Responsible for scheduling (in partnership with project leads), recording, and taking and distributing notes for all priority campaign’s 
  • Responsible for scheduling all the priority project planning calls where the whole team needs to be present, including (but not limited to):
  • Responsible for taking notes during all priority project planning calls, clearly outlining key action items or follow-ups for attendees, and distributing to attendees.
  • To spearhead the creation (in partnership with the team) of a workback schedule to keep all key project dates and milestones organized
  • To support the project lead in the building of project precap and recap decks (includes designing the format for the decks, as well as requesting information from the BU team and cross-functional partners to fill in slides)
  • To save all project management tools, meeting recordings and notes within each projects respective SharePoint folder

Team Support:

  • Responsible for maintaining the NAM Concept Tracker on behalf of the team, and requesting any outstanding details from project owners and stakeholders as needed to do so
  • Responsible for assisting BU lead with all team building activity planning and scheduling, as well as team birthday celebration and gift planning
  • To help oversee the overall structure and organization of the team’s SharePoint folder system and inform the team of any important updates or innovations
  • Team “Microsoft Team’s Guru;” responsible for helping upskill team on Microsoft Team capabilities (to enhance their own productivity), organizing the BU team’s Teams communication, and maintaining our BU Team’s channels.
  • Must be familiar with or upskill one’s self on Smartsheet capabilities to ensure they can navigate internal tools using the platform.
  • Responsible for upskilling the team on organizational and project management skills whenever possible, both with re: to practice and tools; bonus points for bringing learnings back from other project managers and resources within the business (what are other teams doing to win, and what have they learned?)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in developing integrated marketing communications programs
  • Strong understanding of how all the elements in the marketing mix affect consumer motivation
  • Experience developing innovative strategies and strong creative instincts
  • Strong customer-facing abilities; ability to partner and influence
  • Ability to lead and mobilize a cross-functional team without direct management responsibilities
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Strong presentation skills and extensive experience in building PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience working in or managing agency partnerships
  • Understanding of sporting goods industry and related retail channels a plus

Qualifications:

  • BA in marketing, advertising or related field
  • Minimum four years of marketing experience, preferably with a sporting or consumer goods company or equivalent account management experience at an advertising/design agency
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
