Associate Level Business Development/Wholesale Sales job opening for a very innovative bedding company. This will be full time/direct hire and hybrid to their LA office.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with management on business planning tops; plan, manage, and execute strategic plans across the business to achieve rapid growth in the US
- Review performance, conduct market research on industry best practices and identify new opportunities to continue to grow US business
- Identify potential business partners and client relationships (sponsorships, partnerships, retailers, wholesalers, etc.); pitch business model, nurture new relationships, and negotiate contracts with relevant stakeholders
- Analyze and compare projected vs. actual online and offline sales and KPIs periodically and update future strategic plans accordingly
- Provide insights to maximize performance in the US
- Analyze US mattress market trends, competitor performance and broader US economic conditions
- Analyze strategic growth plans of a variety of scenarios to guide decision-making for leadership team
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong interest and excitement to launch an innovative and disruptive product in a commoditized market
- Familiarity with wholesale/ retail business in the US
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or relevant field
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in consulting, strategy, business planning, or similar roles, with exposure to business planning and execution
- US work authorization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience working in an international environment or with team members in different time zones
- Strong interest to launch an innovative/disruptive product in a commoditized market
