Our client, is a known entertainment studio looking for a Concept Designer - Experiential to join their team!

Pay -  $40-41/hr DOE
6 month contract - FT hours

As an Experiential Designer, you will play a key role in supporting our design-build projects, providing practical and thoughtful solutions to our clients' visions, through technical design, construction, and assembly.

The Experiential Designer is responsible for the conceptualization of branding and design through to final execution and installation. Successful candidates will not only be able to ideate visual identities for brand partners, but translate that into space planning, signage, and collateral.

• Works with team to provide experiential branding services (Environmental Branding, Branding, Signage & Wayfinding, Digital Experiences)
• Creates mood boards, mock-ups, scaled floor plans, renderings, and décor selections using 3D modeling software (such as Vectorworks, SketchUp and Adobe CC)
• With direction from the client or more senior design professionals, develops, modifies, and/or reviews drawings ensuring the incorporation of design intent.
• Works with fabrication and production teams to bring custom signage, window vinyl and visual direction of space to life within budget parameters.
• Sketches, ideates, and generates new concepts quickly based on stakeholder direction and self-driven research. Breaks down complex briefs into simple, compelling ideas and highly engaging, world-class designs.
• An understanding of build techniques, the fabrication process, budget, and materials to design environmental and scenic elements.
• Ability to multitask, be flexible, and collaborate as part of a larger creative team and remain poised and positive under tight deadlines is pertinent. Positivity goes a long way!
• Be self-sufficient and able to manage projects, timelines and creative deliverables to keep on track and hit deadlines. You are organized and detail oriented.
• Have strong presentation skills to create, organize, oversee and pitch presentations.
Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience, preferably within events and/or an agency.
• Strong conceptual and execution skills.
• Understanding of branding concepts and the potential for their application to, relationship with, and integration into the built environment
• Expert eye for design and visual storytelling.
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients.
• Mastery of Adobe CC (particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
• Mastery of 3D Software of choice (such as Sketchup or Vectorworks)
• Ability to communicate ideas in sketches and renderings
• Fluency in Keynote and PowerPoint
