Title: Content Designer 

Overview: 

The Content Designer - Experience collaborates closely in cross-functional multidisciplinary teams to create novel, innovative, and evidence-based content experiences for diverse audiences (eg, patients, care partners, HCPs, clients). You merge strategy and creative to design content situated to solve unique problems in engaging, memorable, and equitable ways. To each team, you bring a data-driven mind, a creative eye, and an empathetic heart, with the goal of positively impacting human health behavior.

Core Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in an advertising or direct marketing agency
  • An understanding of and keen insight into behavioral concepts 
  • Experience with expanding business and nurturing new growth opportunities (make adjustments to drive KPIs)
  • Strong leadership with the ability to inspire staff to pursue specific goals and elevate the groups digital acumen
  • Highly collaborative across departments, this individual will bring excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Ability to present and sell ideas
  • Solid understanding of creative development process, including interactive outputs, and the strategic thinking that drives successful implementation
  • Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of task and use-case analysis, heuristic analysis, and user personas
  • Experience participating and conducting usability testing as well as documentation of testing results including gathering interaction and functional requirements
  • A self-starter who is self-motivated disciplined, self-assured, performance driven and passionate about digital and its role in transforming businesses
  • Passionate about the company's core values, with an affinity for behavioral science based solutions and services (promote symbiotic relationship between UX, Strategy, and Behavioral Science)

  • Content is more than something to be read or looked at; content benefits users when it engages them and draws them into a meaningful experience
  • When users are engaging in content designed to help them make a health behavior change, they are learners
  • Envisioning content as something separate from its experiential wrapping is detrimental to the learner
  • Designing experiential content allows us richer, nuanced avenues for assessment of learning and application rather than use and satisfaction

Responsibilities: 
  • Use data, desk research, and user research to plan content that gives the user what they need, when they need it, in the way they expect, and in the way that best facilitates their own problem solving
  • Work with copywriters and art directors to brainstorm and ideate innovative ways of communicating content and you create outlines or storyboards for copywriters to execute on
  • Collaborate with art directors and UX designers to seamlessly integrate the “what” of the content with the “why” and “how”
  • Use qualitative data analysis methods to interpret and apply user testing results into actionable solutions
