Job description

The CRO will focus on User Experience/Conversion Rate Optimization service line. This individual must have a base knowledge of designing and implementing testing plans to help improve user experience and conversion rates. As a key contributor on the team, this individual will have an opportunity to utilize analytical and technical skills to execute testing frameworks, funnel analysis, behavioral analysis, and user research. They will also assist in managing A/B tests and testing strategies/recommendations to improve our clients’ performance.

Title: Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist (Part-Time) 
Pay: $45-$55/hour (slightly flexible) 
Start Date: ASAP
Type: 3 month Contract (possibility to extend)
Hours:  20 hour per /week (flexible hours)


  • Work closely with senior members our client's team to understand client goals and develop testing proposals
  • Configure A/B and multivariate tests using Optimizely, VWO, or Google Optimize and analyze results
  • Develop plans for testing and research design in order to improve user experience and client performance
  • Analyze data across web analytics and media platforms and generate client facing deliverables (adhere to best practices and standards for formatting, accuracy, and completeness).
  • Collaborate with the Account, Innovation, Media and rest of the Analytics teams in answering ad hoc analytics questions in order to help explain changes in a client’s site performance
  • Collaborate with the CX and Web Development team to implement and test creative change recommendations
  • Assist UX/CRO services and help develop and grow the service line
  • Support development of standardized CRO processes and templates

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Web analytics certification or other training a plus
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in user experience analysis and conversion rate optimization
  • Experience with heat mapping analysis using tools such as VWO, Hotjar, or CrazyEgg a plus
  • Ability to think creatively and critically when creating data driven solutions for client problems
  • Articulate testing strategies and present findings to clients 
  • Ability to learn new platforms and skills quickly for client work
  • Experience analyzing site analytics data using Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
  • Basic statistics knowledge
  • Basic data visualization skills; experience with Data Studio preferred
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript (JS), HTML, and CSS a huge plus
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to create client facing deliverables
  • Attention to detail and natural curiosity a must
