Our client, a renowned beauty brand located in the South Bay, is currently seeking a Product Development Assistant to join their dynamic team.This is an exciting hybrid role based out of their headquarters, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to their innovative projects.
Position Overview:
- Benchmarks/Shade Lineups: Select and present benchmarks and shade lineups to management, marketing, and cross-functional partners in person to ensure color accuracy beyond digital displays.
- Season, Collab, and Product Brainstorms: Participate in live meetings with teams to share and try products. Note that sending products by Uber or mail is not feasible due to cost and time constraints.
- Color Matching: Manage color matching across various projects, requiring multiple iterations and samples to be stored and reviewed in the office for management and marketing approvals.
- Sample Distribution/Presentation + Feedback Collection: Present projects in person to the Brand President and SVP of Marketing and handle shipment receiving and sending to vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years experience in cosmetics or personal care industry
- Passion to learn the technical elements of product development including manufacturing and cosmetic formulation
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
