Demand Planner

Role Overview: 
We seek a talented demand planner to ensure company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties, including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and maintaining forecast models.

To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies.

Demand Planner Roles and Responsibilities: 
•    Maintain the inventory management system and the demand planning tool with accuracy
•    Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
•    Monitor and report on essential changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
•    Conduct monthly forecast maintenance, including accurately placing purchase orders and tracking purchase order status
•    Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
•    Maintain vendor relationships, including securing the most favorable pricing & lead times
•    Lead bi-monthly sales and operations planning meetings with marketing/sales
•    Join and provide updates on weekly status meetings with external vendors. Some night calls are required due to international vendors availability
•    Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
•    Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy

Demand Planner Key Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields
•    At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role within the beauty industry. Experience with a high-velocity growth company is a plus
•    Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
•    Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
•    Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets required
•    Experience with the Cin7Core inventory management system a plus
