We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Design System Designer to join our team. As a Design System Designer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the design system for our client. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in design across various digital products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the design system for our client ensuring it aligns with the company's brand guidelines and user experience principles.
- Work closely with product designers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable design components.
- Create detailed documentation that outlines the usage guidelines, best practices, and standards for implementing the design system.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to implement UI components using HTML/CSS/JavaScript or other relevant technologies.
- Conduct regular audits of existing designs to identify areas for improvement in terms of accessibility, usability, and visual consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in design systems and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Design System Designer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles, responsive web design techniques, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma or Sketch for designing interfaces and creating interactive prototypes.
- Solid understanding of frontend development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
