Job Description:Skillset Needed:
Adobe Creative Suite is a must, primarily Illustrator focused.
- Ability to sketch either apparel or home goods is essential.
- Construction/ Technical design sketching is a plus.
- Ability to create prints and artwork graphics is a plus.
Knowledgeable in Excel & Power Point
- Excel – ability to create BOMs through data entry.
- Power Point – Ability to create design presentation layouts.
- Need to work on artwork/ color approvals.
- Communicate with vendors on project or style needs.
- Organize submit folders & samples.
Responsibilities:
Research Competitive Market & Aspirational Market for innovation and staying current on business.
Design Collections within the brand needs & aesthetics
- Ensuring the product is executed from concept to production.
- Present Ideas/ collections to Cross Functional team & sometimes leadership team
- Ensure all protos and approval submits are meet product expectations (quality, looks, cost, etc)
Organize samples & submit approvals.
