Overview:
Our client, a leader int he beauty and Retail space, is looking for a Digital Asset Specialist to handle the processing and organization of all incoming digital assets including internal photography and vendor provided assets. This position will be an integral part of their daily Photo Studio operations and will partner with our ecommerce team to ensure quality, organization and accurate delivery of all assets to our DAM. This role will be a contractor position and will report to the Photo Studio Manager. They will be the primary point of contact for all digital assets that are received by the brand.

The Digitial Asset Specialist needs to be an extremely detail-oriented person with a creative mindset and solid time management skills, who will ensure image optimization and quality across all of our assets. We want someone who’s interested in creating a more efficient environment for our assets, while being a resource and guide for those who need access to them. This job is currently a remote position with the opportunity to work in our office in the future.

Essential Job Functions
•    Quality assurance of all Digital images (internal photography and vendor provided images) including: cropping, creating swatches, validating image quality, sizing, naming conventions and ensuring they meet the brand's ecommerce specifications
•    Manage all asset requests from internal and external sources while ensuring timely delivery
•    Must understand how actions work in Photoshop as well as batch editing
•    Create composite images from multiple images for product pages in Photoshop
•    Ability to work collaboratively on projects yet maintain an individual focus on quality control
•    Determining and implementing best practices: Provide ongoing optimization recommendations, system improvements and ongoing process changes

Organizational Skills
•    Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
•    Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously within fast paced environment
•    Possess strong communication skills: clear, articulate and responsive
•    Manage time efficiently while multi-tasking across different projects for multiple teams

Work Skills:
•    Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite (especially Photoshop and Bridge) 
•    Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office
•    Ability to learn and use project management tools quickly and efficiently
•    Ability to follow established processes and procedures 
•    Strong organizational skills, quick execution style 
•    Ability to communicate adequately orally and in written form 
•    Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on a multitude of concurrent tasks 
•    Forward-think and make decisions with confidence 
•    Business maturity and the ability to work with others 

Job Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    2+ years of experience in digital asset management
•    Photoshop and Adobe Bridge skills
•    Experience with Monday.com project management tool is a plus
