Digital Marketing Specialist  Overview:

As a key member of our Marketing & Branding team, you’ll help us track, measure and optimize our digital marketing across an array of platforms and channels. 

Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities: 

  • Advise your co-workers on the front-end setup of our digital campaigns (goals, audience targeting, media strategy, tracking, etc.) as well as provide optimizations as the campaigns run.
  • Serve as our subject matter expert and technology sherpa for a broad range of digital marketing tools and platforms, including: Google Analytics, Talentegy (Recruitment Marketing), Yoast, Wordpress, as well as an array of social media, email marketing and CRM tools. 
  • Orchestrate digital marketing efforts across the department, including recruitment marketing, brand marketing and marketing work for emerging business focus areas like Cleantech
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on full-funnel digital campaigns: planning, budget recommendations, analytics, optimizations and data analysis.
  • Lead the data, tracking and reporting efforts for our marketing team.
  • Work across a variety of digital channels including paid search, social media, display, video, websites and others
  • Stay current on social media trends (audience targeting, best practices, etc.) and leverage those learnings when you consult with your team
  • Deliver recurring reports – and consultative analysis -- that show the ROI of the campaigns and ongoing marketing/branding efforts, while turning the numbers into an easy-to-understand story for executives
  • Present your analysis and recommendations to key leaders (and colleagues) throughout the company
  • Manage ad spend to stay within budget
  • Set up and launch email marketing campaigns through our CRM
  • Edit and update website content & create new landing pages as needed

Digital Marketing Specialist Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in paid social media, digital campaigns, paid search and/or digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and digital tracking mechanisms
  • Experience with UX best practices
  • A/B testing and mid-campaign optimization expertise
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build genuine relationships with co-workers
  • Ability to learn new technologies, tools and industries
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without getting overwhelmed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Familiarity with WordPress back-end and key plugins like Yoast
  • Familiarity with CRM and email marketing systems
