Job description

Our client is searching for a self-motivated, curious, results-driven, and detail-oriented individual who consistently seeks to drive client success and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of digital channels. The Digital Strategist works with subject matter experts, client services, analytics, and other departments to provide an overarching view of how our digital campaigns impact our clients’ customer journeys.


Responsibilities:
• Working with a team of digital marketers or client service personnel towards a common goal
• Communicating directly with clients or internal stakeholders about their marketing campaigns and objectives
• Analyzing marketing reports and building insights from data in some capacity. (We love experience with Google Analytics, but it’s not a requirement.)
• Using data and research to make informed marketing decisions
• Mapping marketing tactics to the customer journey based on user-intent
• Establishing, maintaining and evolving marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels
• Comfortable with agency life (able to adapt to shifting client priorities and the ever-evolving digital marketing industry)
• A critical thinker / problem solver

You will be directly responsible for:
• Driving competitive analyses with the help of subject matter experts
• Developing strategic initiatives based on audit findings and client goals
• Thinking about “what’s next” for our clients on an ongoing basis
• Monthly overview reporting directly with clients
• Lead quarterly or biannual business reviews with the help of subject matter experts
• Facilitating internal team meetings to ensure cross-channel performance
• Meeting with the client services team to review opportunities and risks
• Staying up to date with latest trends in digital marketing
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in a digital marketing service line or similar strategic marketing role
o We are currently seeking applicants with experience in one or more of the following digital marketing service lines:
SEO / Content Development / Content Strategy
Paid Media (Search, Social, Programmatic/Display)
Lead Nurture (Email Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization)
• Experience within ad platforms
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
• Able to use advanced filters, tables, and graphs within Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• An understanding of online drives such as Microsoft SharePoint or Google Drive
• Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written
Nice to have: While not required, any experience with the following tools would be beneficial in this role:
• Google Data Studio (Or any other data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI)
• Google Search Console
• Google Ads
• Facebook Business Manager
• Amazon
• Marketing research tools such as, but not limited to: SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SpyFu
• Adbeat
• Moat
