Our client is a well-known global beauty company that is seeking a new Director of Sales Reporting & Business Intelligence to join their team

 

Director of Business Intelligence and Reporting Job Summary:

Director of Sales Reporting & Business Intelligence responsible for overseeing accuracy and issuances of Sales Shipments/Consumption reporting and analysis for all brands. Provide key insights and provide recommendations for opportunities. Oversee team of 3. Partner with IT on system enhancements.

 

Director of Business Intelligence and Reporting Key Accountabilities: 

-Concept, consolidate and shape the narrative of retail data to offer seamless, integrated and elevated experiences in E-Comm and Brick& Mortar.

-Work directly with Executive leadership on retail reporting via internal data and NPD category information. Leverage data and digital capabilities to identify insights and growth opportunities

-Partner with IT team to drive continuous improvement and incorporation of technologies for future reporting and system enhancements

-Oversee team responsible for retailer door catalog

-Partner with cross-functional teams to delivery quarterly reviews of retail by door for Budget reporting

-Develop best in class location-based analytics, i.e. key sales metrics by location, mall, and region including new stores

-Maintains relationships with Sales and Planning teams through consistent and comprehensive communication, and providing support as needed

-Collaborates with peers to ensure consistency of information and the sharing of best practices

-Executes Ad hoc reporting requests from Leadership and Sales organization

-Provide Future thinking and retail strategic direction

 

Qualifications: 

-Bachelor’s degree plus minimum of 7 years previous industry experience

-Must have experience in SKU-level planning processes and report/model building

-Must have a clear understanding of basic financial and inventory measures (sales, gross margin, and weeks of supply)

-Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Power Point

-Should possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Identify and implement best practices in order to positively impact business results

-Possess exceptional Microsoft Excel skills

-Must have ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

-Must be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
