Director, Marketing Operations

We're looking for a talented Marketing Operations Leader who has a passion for process, systems and analytics.  In this important role, you will use your prior experience and expertise, along with a healthy sense of discovery, to create processes and reporting that are critical to support companies business strategies. To be successful in this role you must be a strategic problem solver who can get results through influence at the executive and team level, innovative thinking, and effective change management.


  • Increase efficiency in lead processes and pipeline creation by constantly seeking new insights rooted in data, and continuously optimize the company’s primary conversion points across the funnel.
  • Build and report on the marketing funnel and identify important trends, company benchmarks and ROI analysis across campaign efforts.
  • Optimize the global marketing automation infrastructure with the goal of standardizing best practices across marketing, sales and customer success.  Document these efforts accordingly to fuel industry story-telling and content marketing programs, and to better enable our customers.
  • Analyze work processes and systems, identifying areas of potential future disruption, and refine business practices accordingly
  • Manage and oversee the operation of the companies database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for demand gen efforts.
  • In partnership with our Marketing Website Developer, oversee corporate website operations and roadmap, ensuring best practices in place for QA and mobile.
  • Oversee and inspire a high-powered Marketing Operations Team, creating both short- and long-term goals for the team.
  • As a member of the marketing leadership team, provide guidance, direction and assistance to teams and programs as needed.
  • Create regular reporting of Marketing Key Performance Indicators and surface business insights, by analyzing data from lead attribution, pipeline metrics, and other marketing programs.
  • Become a trusted subject matter expert on how internal systems work, and lead, prioritize and respond to requests from the marketing team 

Experience and Skills Required

  • Passionate about operational excellence and process improvement in Marketing.  Inspired to demonstrate your experience to help build a best-in-class operations framework and a data-driven approach.
  • Proven ability to manage a high performing team, as well leading cross functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Strong data communication skills that ensure outcomes can be seen and understood from different perspectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and competencies: Business vision, accountability for results, team development, cross-organization collaboration
  • 7+ years of experience with an Enterprise or SaaS software provider.
  • 10+ years of experience with CRM and/or Marketing Automation technology in an operational role. Prior use of companies Software will make you a stand-out candidate.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment..
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that provide the necessary context, analysis, and recommendations to drive action and accountability from local and remote teams
