Production and Quality Control Director Overview: The Director of Production & Quality Control is responsible for monitoring all products in development and managing the schedule and workflow of the Product team to ensure all necessary tasks are executed properly, efficiently, and as quickly as possible to avoid any delays in development and production..
Production and Quality Control Director Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Developers to manage workflow of all tasks related to product development
- Work with Production Coordinators to manage workflow for production, bulk shipment logistics, quality control, and all related tasks
- Manage Tech Packs
- Manage Quality control of goods shipped
- Responsible for communicating directly with suppliers and manufacturers, including constant follow-up to ensure there are no delays caused by the manufacturer
- Manage and Mentor Production and Product development team
Production and Quality Control Director Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of accessories design, development, and production- Apparel a PLUS
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- High level of fluency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel/Google Suite
- PLM/PDM/ERP experience (software system)
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and agile learner able to adapt to the changing needs of the studio
- Self-motivated and self-directed with continuous desire to learn and grow
