East Coast Sales AssistantRole Overview:
Our client is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team! A focused and meticulous support to the Department Store and Major Ecommerce businesses. This role will directly support the Sales Manager and Director of Sales. A strategic thinker that aids in efficiency as sales volume increases.
Sales Assistant Roles and Responsibilities
• Maintain showroom conditions and visual standards
• Maintains all account files in an organized manner in the sales drive
• Supports in Showroom Market Prep Account Support
• Analyzes and tracks selling data weekly and provide consistent reporting to ensure high profitability
• Support Majors businesses with data management and quality check of purchase orders
• Coordinates sample lending, shooting, style guides, and copy templates for all major’s web orders
• Provide shipping updates and ATS for accounts
• Works closely with Retail Coordinator team to share reporting, oversee samples
• Processes and logs all account return authorizations and credit memos
• Maintains internal office logs/files
• Supports with special reporting such as EOS Recaps, Market Recaps, Pre-Market preparedness reporting
• Account support when members of the sales team are traveling or out of office • Process, check, and amend orders under direction of sales manager/sales director • Sending of order confirmations
• Track EDI transmissions and PO #’s
• Communicate extension requests, changes in production, shortages, or cancellations Requirements
Sales Assistant Key Qualification's:
• Previous retail sales or showroom experience
• Experience using Microsoft office (emphasis in excel), adobe, nuOrder and joor a plus
•Fast learner and strong at multi-tasking
• Strong communication skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Excels with numbers
• Knowledge of retail math
