Client Overview:
Our client is the world's leading interactive entertainment software company. The company develops, publishes, and distributes interactive software worldwide for videogame systems, personal computers, cellular and much more. They are currently looking for an Experience Designer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
. Collaborate with the Design team, Product Managers, and developers to set priorities and find optimal design solutions to improve usability
. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
. Consistently champion usability and accessibility
. Leverage and extend the use of established UX techniques and deliverables
Skills:
. An advanced level of experience in user experience design, interaction design, product design, or in a similar role
. A strong portfolio with examples of finished UX/UI work and insight into your development process
. Experience designing Developer-first SaaS / B2B products a plus
. Experience in, or understanding of, games, game development, and game tooling like Unity, Unreal, or other tools a plus
. Evolving knowledge of usability principles and techniques, interaction design, and design patterns
. Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
. Solid knowledge of design and prototyping tools like Figma, Invision or others
. Knowledge of inclusive design principles and experience designing for usability and accessibility
. Understanding of the importance of providing and soliciting feedback in an inclusive and respectful manner
. A natural, deep curiosity that inspires you to learn, investigate and always ask why
. Ability to work autonomously and think proactively
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 1-2+ years of proven design experience
· Proficient in UX/UI, wireframing, and prototyping tools, including Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail
