The Fit technician will collaborate with the apparel merchants and Sourcing teams to:

. Ensure that all garments are of the correct fit, construction, look, style and quality that are consistent with the company's standards.

. Measure all samples against size specifications to ensure the desired fit is achieved in a timely manner.

. Check construction, fit, and style details to original sample.

. Create and review graded spec sheets for each garment.

. Make corrections to specifications and details to achieve desired fit and look.

. Lead fit sessions with fit models.

. Create fit sketches to aid suppliers in correcting fit issues.

. Approve production samples of all stages (jointly with apparel merchants).

. Communicate and follow-up to ensure corrections, modifications, and approvals of samples to the supplier are made within the timeline and action schedule deadlines.

. Maintain the approved block to ensure consistency in fit.

. Continually strive to upgrade the product without affecting the value.

 

Key requirements:

. Minimum of 5 years experience in tech design At-least 5 years experience in working directly with factories overseas

. Experience in owning the fit process from development through production, to see the full spectrum

. Experience in both Men's and Women's apparel in all categories (Tops, Bottoms, Skirts, Dresses, Outerwear) and fabrications (Knit + Woven) preferred In-depth knowledge of garment construction and design.

. Experience with fitting procedures, pattern making.

. Detailed oriented, with accuracy and precision.

. Experienced with interpreting market trends in order to achieve current fashions and desired look.

. Demonstrated ability to take initiative.

. Strong communications skills both verbal and written, including with suppliers across different global locations.

. Ability to work both independently and with others in a team environment.

. Good time management skills, ability to prioritize, and problem solving skills.
