24 Seven is partnering with our client whom is one of the most recognizable sporting goods brands globally. Our client is seeking a Footwear Designer to join their team this winter. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Steer and drive the design from conceptualization to commercialization process

• Creating transparency on creative feedback Items in digital format and turn around request at 100% team ability in speed to deliver on the ask.

• Creates design documents to increase ways of working efficiency on projects in the team

• Ability to communicate design intent to sample room team, development, product marketing and partner factories.

• Bridge the design transition from concept to collection. Having the understanding of what needs to be shared/translated to set the collection team up for success.

Product Creation Team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to lead teams through complex and ambiguous projects while maintaining positivity, productivity and speed

• An understanding of taking a concept all the way thru creation process into the market.

• Provide productive critiquing and mentoring creating efficient, creative, and positive working environment

• Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate with Brand Design Partners to bring new methods of make/ creation to life

• A detailed understanding of the product creation process

• A strong knowledge of footwear, fashion feasibilities and other facets of Design (transportation, architecture, apparel, technology, etc)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• Four year college or university degree in industrial, graphics, apparel or footwear design

• Practical experience in footwear design, fashion design or any design relevant environment

• Thorough knowledge of art and design with clear understanding of visual design or any design related environment

• Three years relevant work experience

• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree

• Has experienced knowledge and a higher understanding of product. From color, material, construction, to production.
