Job description

As Associate Project Manager, Innovation, you will assist the project management lead for the Footwear Innovation Team.

You will lead small to medium size project delivery.

You will be responsible for coordinating resources, projects and workflow to ensure the team is equipped to meet specific goals, build brand and category growth and exceed customer expectations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

  • Lead and provide project management support to the Innovation Footwear Teams.
  • Drive development, collaboration and implementation of prioritized projects - engage teams and inspire change management.
  • Provide project management services such as defining scope, deliverables, planning, and risk analysis/management.
  • Deliver projects while ensuring cross functional alignment and needs are met.
  • Ensure capabilities are executed in support of meeting functional performance targets.
  • Plan, coordinate and participate in meetings as requested, including scheduling and communication, maintaining information and preparing and distributing materials, taking minutes and following up on action items. Provide timely communications.
  • Assist the Business Process and Management Team (BPM) in strategy implementation across the organization.
  • Support continuous process/system improvements – find opportunities, initiate root cause analysis and or drive capability building and implementation/adoption in partnership with the BPM Team. 
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years post-graduate work experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple time sensitive projects.
  • Strong background in project management (MS Project / Smartsheet) 
  • Experience working with creative and/or engineering teams.
  • Proven interpersonal skills required; with ability to develop effective relationships.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) applications, proficient use of Microsoft Project or other scheduling software preferred
  • Preferred experience working with a PPM system (i.e. Planview, Service Now)
