Job description

Our agency client is growing and looking to add a full time Graphic Designer to their team with benefits! As the Graphic Designer, you will be an essential part of driving business through innovative design and creativity. You will be responsible for creating digital assets and deliverables, working cross-functionally with supporting teams, and creating unique, one of a kind work to help build brand awareness and drive results.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

· Support Creative Director and Art Director by creating compelling digital assets for social, email, and display ads, adhering to brand and sizing guidelines

· Develop design templates for newsletters, decks, and sales collateral

· Perform retouching as needed

· Present design strategy and thinking to senior-level creatives

· Follow and stay up-to-date on emerging industry trends and design guidelines

· Create a high-level strategy to continue to help the brand evolve and remain ahead of leading competitors in the industry

Graphic Designer Qualifications:

  • Provide a portfolio website or portfolio PDF that exhibits quality, collaboration and skills flexibility.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) on Mac OS is a must. Proficiency in HTML5, After Effects & Premiere a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially with forms, templates and PowerPoint, is also plus.
  • Solid understanding of principles of graphic design and practical knowledge of their application by translating design concepts to final refined layouts and production art.
  • Adept in layout development and composition, file manipulation, typography, color, kerning and leading.
  • Great communication, organizational, attention-to-detail and project management skills.
  • The ability to solve problems under tight deadlines with a can do attitude.
  • Experience on press checks and knowledge of basic printing terms and techniques.
  • 5+ years of experience. Agency experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated; takes initiative.
  • Associates degree in graphic design at minimum; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
