Our client, a notable fashion brand, is looking for a fulltime freelance/contract to hire Graphic Designer to join their team.

Hybrid in Irvine - 2-3 days onsite per week
40 hours/week
Pay $35-$39/hour depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

The Graphic Designer creates and develops communications and content that build awareness for the  brand. This role is 360, working on a range of digital and traditional campaigns and materials, including digital, social, Ecommerce, mobile, print, and collateral. The Graphic Designer reports to, and works closely with, the VP of Ecommerce and Marketing, the Creative Project Manager, Associate Art Director, the retail and wholesale teams, the design teams and Ecommerce teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for graphic design of digital and print collateral, which includes email campaigns, display ads, website and social media assets; as well as look books / direct mail printed assets, internal presentations, digital and printed invitations.
Leads and/or supports presentations of concepts to internal teams, responding to input, and carrying project through revisions to completion.
Supports in researching and concepting for print and digital campaigns, create mood boards, sketches, and renderings to support concept presentations.
Provides production support in building mockups and printing collateral in-house.
Manages individual assignments, workflow, and vendor communication when necessary, with a keen eye and highly detailed
Develops new and unique ideas and adapt key design elements across a variety of factors and media while maintaining overall consistency within established branding guidelines.
Attends press checks as needed to assure highest quality of printed pieces

This is a non-supervisory experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual will need in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in art direction, graphic design, visual communications, or similar focus
5+ years of experience, preferably working with high fashion or luxury brand
Exceptional attention to details and a portfolio showcasing unique concepts and creative design solutions, including several examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual, and creative thinking
Keen sense of typography, layout, photography, and effective use of graphic materials to communicate messages to the customer
Strong command of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Knowledge of After Effects and digital animation a plus.
Must be able to present concepts as 3D renderings before moving to layout
Deep understanding of tools, current technology, trends, and design principals
Basic understanding of print production processes
Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working in an extremely fast-paced environment with a high level of excellence
