Our client, a Trendy and Luxury Furniture Company, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team. This will be full time/direct hire!
This position requires someone that is highly creative, detail-oriented, and driven towards excellence in design. A definitive demonstration of interior design, photography and other artistic influences is desired as this role will involve building creative concepts, designs and layouts using current and forward trending ideas. The graphic designer must be able to meet conceptual challenges and tight deadlines in a fun, yet fast-paced environment.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
• Creates concepts, designs, and layouts for large scale graphics, collateral, digital and print materials
• Develops presentations in support of sales and marketing departments
• Generates marketing assets for social media and email blasts
• Undertake advertising and promotional design for online, print, and promotional products from concept to production-ready artwork
• Visualization and mock-ups – produce graphic and physical examples of products and site installations
• Manage and keep up to date on the in–house image library
• Work with the marketing team to supply marketing material, both printed and online • Print procurement – source providers and maintain up-to-date knowledge of prices, materials, processes, and deadlines/delivery, as required
• Maintains a consistent visual identity and implements branding guidelines
• Edits and optimizes photos and graphics for in-house use
• Finalizes art files for print production for digital and offset print
• Applies company graphics for branded gifts
• Selects the design and production process of editorial elements such as magazines, booklets, catalogs, and brochures
• Coordinates deliverables with material suppliers and service vendors
• Offers assistance in ad-hoc marketing collateral
• Manage and deliver ad hoc design related projects
• Local travel to retail locations may be required
Requirements:
• Design portfolio required for consideration
• Bachelor’s degree in design-related field with emphasis on print design
• 2+ Years’ experience as an in-house graphic designer
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Thorough knowledge of print production and file preparation for digital and offset processes
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage the workflow of many projects and meet deadlines simultaneously
• HTML and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge
• An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
