The Role:
Our client, is currently looking for a Group Brand Director to join our team. This person will have in-depth experience in core marketing functions - from upstream strategic development, product development, digital, to offline and multi-channel marketing executions and innovations. We’re seeking a big-picture thinker who is also a pragmatic leader. We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine desire to grow the company and the client’s business. Someone who has a successful history of growing and leading client portfolios and winning new business and who is driven by enterprise control on a client – the relationship, the P&L, and the team.

How You'll Spend Your Time:
Client Management:

  • Act as strategic business leader for a portfolio of clients with a sharp eye for growth and operations
  • Ability to guide and own the client relationship, particularly at the C-suite and senior executive levels
  • Tap a breadth of experience and business expertise to interpret client needs into actionable internal direction
  • Leverage an in-depth knowledge of the client’s industry and business in order to serve as the client's critical partner assessing and addressing their needs
  • Lead vision for long-term growth of the client account
  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with internal departments to ensure client delivery within a positive working environment
  • Partner with strategy and leadership to identify and set strategic client development plans
  • Drive the development of compelling, innovative & differentiated work

Team Management:

  • Develop an effective, nimble and versatile team with a growth mindset, providing mentorship and growth opportunities for the team
  • Manage shifting priorities at a fast pace while continuing to lead and motivate the team
  • Advise team on matters of best interest to client
  • Problem solve with client team on any roadblocks
  • Oversee account team liaising with strategy, creative, and digital development teams
  • Ensure excellence of work and client satisfaction across all touchpoints

P&L Ownership:

  • Manage statements of work across the business pod
  • Attain P&L targets through existing and new business development
  • Hedge P&L fluctuations by proactively identifying client risks and opportunities
  • Monitor overall account health and status

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • 10+ years of Account Management experience in interactive, ad, marketing or consulting firm a must
  • 8+ years of proven track record with senior clients
  • Strong knowledge of strategy, analytics, technology, promotions, interactive media, acquisition, retention campaigns
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and provide direction to other members on the
  • team
  • Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
