Title: Growth and Retention Manager

Our client is a classic luxury retailer hiring for a freelance Growth and Retention Manager covering a maternity leave.
 
Summary
This temporary role will support the Growth & Retention team develop and execute programs that focus on retention and loyalty of e-commerce and omni-channel clients. An emphasis will be placed on optimizing and enhancing the triggered email program, considering overarching email marketing strategy and business goals. He/she will also stay abreast and inform team of competitor best practice, bring forth new perspectives and insights to help evolve the communication landscape, while supporting various initiatives as it relates to digital journeys and existing roadmap initiatives.

Location: NYC (hybrid - onsite 3 days a week, 2 days remote)
Start: January 3rd
End: April 2023 Rate: $50-75/hr (DOE)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Triggered Email Program
  • Maintain program health and enhance program initiatives that strengthen client relationship
  • Monitor existing programs and assess areas of opportunity
  • Strategize on ways to further improve the overall client experience by identifying gaps in journey and connection with other touchpoints

Build and execute test plans for subject line, content, segmentation, and frequency to continually optimize program
  • Manage brief creation and submission with Creative team
  • Work with vendor to build and activate trigger email program tests
  • Monitor and report on results, and iterate as needed
  • Manage campaign builds and QA in collaboration with vendors, Tech, and Digital

Reporting / Analysis
  • Responsible for on-going analysis and reporting for Triggered Email Program and overall Email channel
  • Maintain and provide normal cadence of reporting including but not limited to weekly team Stand-up, End of month, and Quarterly Email Marketing deep dives
  • Partner with Digital Communication, Digital Analytics, and Divisions on ad-hoc reporting needs and any applicable analysis required for program enhancements and overall business
Skills/Requirements
  • Expertise in Email Marketing and Behavioral trigger programming, particularly in Bluecore platform strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience and understanding of Retention Marketing
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint
