Job description

24 Seven is partnering up with their top global sportswear client based in Portland, OR to help them find a Member Growth Planning Manager to join their team in this hybrid position. This is a 9 month contract, with potential to extend or turn into a full-time position. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick time, 401K and holiday pay.

Purpose of Role:
Member Growth is a new team formed in response to the business putting Members at the center of the business plan.  Building unbreakable Membership Relationships is our core focus, with the purpose of supporting Members in the pursuit of their goals: to Make Sport a Daily Habit.

We’re looking for a candidate to join the APLA Member Growth team in the newly created role of Member Growth Planning Manager, focusing on planning and reporting on Member Growth – member growth funnel, lifecycle progression, benefit performance and profitability.

This role requires someone with a limitless curiosity—you naturally ask “why” and seek to understand the drivers behind the data.  A determined attitude and a willingness to operate through ambiguity are important traits for this role.

The successful candidate will have experience handling large datasets, and will have developed the ability to recognize trends and patterns in data.  This role requires skill with creating data visualizations that clearly convey key insights to stakeholders. Effective communication and comfort presenting business results to senior audiences are important skills in this role.

We’re looking for someone that enjoys working in a fast paced and complex environment, with the desire to be at the center of a massive transformation in Member Growth offense.

Responsibilities:
You will support Member-led Seasonal planning efforts by distilling member insights and embedding into the seasonal planning process.  You will model new initiatives to predict performance and define targets.  You will track and report business KPIs at the Geo, platform, and cohort level, and create presentation materials for sharing results to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
•    5+ years of business planning, financial planning, or consumer analytics experience.
•    Evidence of consumer insight-led decision making.
•    Expert level proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools (e.g. MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Keynote).
•    Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively.
•    Deep understanding of the landscape of membership programs.
