Head of Marketing Overview: 

As the Head of Marketing, you will work closely with the VP of Global marketing to lead the approach for top-performing sunless and body care brands. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness to increase customer acquisition and contribute to the company’s overall growth and success. In this role, you will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency.

Head of Marketing Responsibilities: 
 
  • Partner with the VP of Global Marketing and the Head of Sales to establish strategies for partnerships, based on past performance and market forecasts.
  • Create and execute marketing plans to support the company’s goals and objectives by identifying target markets and analyzing consumer insights.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s brand identity to ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Drive the digital marketing efforts including website optimization, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Develop and manage the creation of marketing collateral.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and improvements.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with the product development team to effectively launch and promote new products.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals.
  • Deliver cost-efficient and high ROI of all activities to meet brand commercial objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed, creating detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Foster a cooperative and results-driven work environment, promoting creativity and innovation.

Head of Marketing Requirements: 
 
  • Extensive experience in a senior management level marketing role within the beauty industry (ideally, body care/skincare focused).
  • Results driven and analytical.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • A proven and successful people-management track record.
  • Always demonstrates an agile and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for beauty.
