*Job Description* Instructional Designer – Change Management
The Instructional Designer will work with cross functional teams throughout the organization and focus on creating engaging, enjoyable and effective training supporting the launch of new technology tools and software applications to our internal customers. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of creative instructional design skills and technical knowledge and is passionate about building best-in-class learning and implementing new technologies in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Design and develop blended learning curriculums, job aids, software simulations and assessment tools to enable learning of new technology initiatives and solutions
- Serve as subject matter expert in development trends, training tools, and platforms while continuously exploring new and innovative approaches
- Conduct analysis to determine learning and performance objectives and scalable instructional strategies and solutions
- Collaborate with Change Management, Product Management, Learning & Development and the Business to understand training requirements and obtain training material sign-off
- Leverage existing and develop new templates for training design and development
- Coordinate with localization team to ensure all training content in translated into required languages
Requirements:
• 3-5 Years instructional design experience focused on digital and blended learning
• Demonstrated expertise in effective instructional design methodologies and designing and developing learning programs to enable new technology in an Agile environment; retail experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office suite, Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise), and graphic design
• Experience with animation and software simulations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and quality
• Proven experience building strong internal relationships
• Natural curiosity, especially about technology
